Ken's business has been concentrated in the M-Streets, Lakewood, Hollywood, and other dynamic neighborhoods in the close-in East Dallas area. But he also likes to show homes in Forest Hills, Oak Cliff, Preston Hollow, Devonshire, and other areas that are the scene of active renovation and restoration of older homes.

Ken uses his own experiences with renovation and his background as an engineer to give homebuyers and sellers a better understanding of older homes.

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:

December, 1974 to January, 1985: Before embarking on his second career as a Realtor©, Ken worked for Cooper Industries Portable Rig Division for ten years. He spent the first eight years designing mobile drilling equipment and the last two years as a Product Manager in the marketing department. Working in the marketing department had the unexpected side effect of making him want to learn how to "sell stuff".

Ken was born in rural Breckinridge County, Kentucky, grew up in Louisville and was educated in the public schools. Ken's dad was a policeman and his mom was a schoolteacher. Ken's grandparents were tobacco farmers in Breckinridge County.

Ken moved to Dallas in 1972, fresh out of college and married Jane Robinson two years later. Jane is the principal of Barton Elementary School in Irving, Texas.

Jane and Ken  are D.I.N.K.S. (Dual Income, No Kids) and are slowly renovating their 1929 Tudor cottage in the M-Street area.
